Diamond Information

SH Jewellery deals mostly in the whitest D/E/F colour grade diamonds. Each diamond is carefully crafted to produce the finest sparkle and brilliance.

Centre diamond quality:

Natural Diamonds: GIA certified, D-E colour, SI1-SI2 clarity — the whitest colour, with slight inclusions difficult to notice without a microscope.
Lab Grown Diamonds: IGI certified, D colour, VVS2 clarity — exceptional whiteness with virtually no visible inclusions.

Side diamond quality:

Side diamonds (e.g. smaller diamonds in the bands) are E-F colour and SI clarity.
A superior whiteness with slight inclusions only noticeable under a microscope.
All diamonds are hand selected for superior brightness and sparkle.

Diamond wedding bands:

A wedding band has no centre stone, so the diamond type you select applies to every stone in the band.
Natural: E-F colour, SI clarity.
Lab Grown: IGI certified, D-E colour, VVS clarity.

Natural vs Lab-Grown Diamonds

Both are real diamonds — same chemical structure, same sparkle. The difference is origin.

• Natural Diamonds — Formed over billions of years deep within the earth. Rarer, with each stone unique. Typically carries higher resale value.
• Lab-Grown Diamonds — Created in weeks using advanced technology that replicates natural diamond growth. Chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. More affordable, letting you choose a larger carat size for the same budget.
