The Criterion Tension Channel-set Diamond Ring 6.2mm - W0891
Metal Guide
Every metal we use is refined to SH Jewellery’s own specification, balancing brilliance, strength, and comfort for daily wear.
18kt White Gold
Our most sought-after metal — a classic bright white finish, rhodium-plated. More scratch-resistant than platinum thanks to its harder alloy composition, and more readily serviced, with a quick re-plate every 1–2 years keeping it looking brand new.
18kt Yellow Gold
A traditional warm tone that never goes out of style. Naturally hypoallergenic and low maintenance — no re-plating required, so it keeps its rich colour for life.
18kt Rose Gold
A warm pink hue that’s on-trend and stands out. Naturally hypoallergenic and low maintenance — no re-plating required, so it keeps its beautiful blush tone for life.
Platinum PT950
Naturally white, dense and heavy; still rhodium-plated for extra brightness. Naturally hypoallergenic, highly durable, and resistant to cracking or chipping, though softer than white gold so it scratches more easily (metal isn’t lost, just displaced) and develops a patina over time.

Diamond Information
SH Jewellery deals mostly in the whitest D/E/F colour grade diamonds. Each diamond is carefully crafted to produce the finest sparkle and brilliance.
Centre diamond quality:
Natural Diamonds: GIA certified, D-E colour, SI1-SI2 clarity — the whitest colour, with slight inclusions difficult to notice without a microscope.
Lab Grown Diamonds: IGI certified, D colour, VVS2 clarity — exceptional whiteness with virtually no visible inclusions.
Side diamond quality:
Side diamonds (e.g. smaller diamonds in the bands) and diamond wedding bands share the same quality standard. Since a wedding band has no centre stone, this applies to every stone in the band.
- Natural: E-F colour, SI1 clarity — superior whiteness, with slight inclusions only noticeable under a microscope.
- Lab Grown: D colour, VVS2 clarity
All diamonds are hand selected for superior brightness and sparkle.
Prices are subject to change based on availability and market conditions. If you have specific requirements outside these parameters, please send us an enquiry and one of our staff members will assist you in finding the right diamond.

The raised centre holds a fabulous , round brilliant cut diamond in a tension setting which allows the diamond to be viewed from all angles and allows ease of light flow to maximise scintillation. Five round brilliant diamonds are channel-set to either side of the centre in the broad wedge shoulders creating a fine row of sparkle to cover the upper finger. The ring has a pleasing weight with a generous 5.8mm band width completing the luxurious look. A lovely choice with warm sophistication.
